Mission Statement
It is our goal to educate students on the practicality and functionality of the technical arts through professional development and interactive study. We hope to eventually facilitate a professional involvement in the arts with an emphasis in theater, television, film, and other performing and technical art fields.
Goals
· To prepare students for the technical arts fields in association to theater, film, television, and other multi media studies.
· To assist in competition based fields of study for students that have an interest in showing their work in a competitive atmosphere (i.e. Florida Theater Conference or Florida Thespian Competition), and to show well at these competitions. J
· To provide a well rounded understanding of all the technical theater studies to each and every student involved.
· To introduce the students to industry professionals, either through field trips, or workshops, so as to assist in their networking and communication skills. The hope is to give them a head start on making contacts for either permanent positions or summer stock opportunities in the future.
· To have every student interested in competition or professional interviews assemble and maintain a quality portfolio.
