The PTO has been reformatted to separate Booster Organizations for each grade and each "Art" Department. Every grade has a Parent Booster. You are automatically a member of the Grade Level Booster for your child's grade. We have a parent who has stepped up to act a Chairperson and Liason for each of the Middle School Grades and for 9th Grade. We still need a parent to take 10th, 11th and 12th grades as well as the Art Department and the Art Technology Department. The Grade Level Boosters are NOT fundraising organizations. They are to be a connection between the teachers and parents for volunteer support and needed supplies. The Teachers will communicate their needs to the grade Lead Teacher who will send those requests to the Booster Chairperson. The Booster Chairperson will forward those requests to the parents for that grade. Our plan is to have those emails go out to the parents mid-month for the next month.
The Boosters for the Art Department and Art Technology Department are fundraising boosters. We will be conducting a schoolwide fundraiser in November and each "art" department will also be conducting their own fundraisers throughout the year. Anyone who feels they can take on these departments is encouraged to contact Pam Martin, PTO President at PMartinPA@msn.com.
