Course Pre-requisite- Successfully completed Biology / Biology Honors and or Chemistry / Chemistry Honors with a B or higher.

    Course Description:

Pre-requisite: Biology and Chemistry, as well as instructor approval. AP Biology is a rigorous, hands-on, demanding course that is equivalent to a two-semester introductory college biology course. This class will focus on enduring conceptual understandings and the content that supports them, which will allow students to focus on inquiry-based learning of essential concepts and developing reasoning skills necessary to engage in the science practices used throughout their study of AP Biology. There are four Big Ideas and 12 mandatory labs that will be taught in great detail and assessed on the AP exam. You will be required to work hard and keep up with the rigorous curriculum.  At the end of the year students are expected to take the AP Biology exam. Class Fee $30.00
