Welcome to 8th grade Physical Science!  We will start the year learning all about energy, forces and motion.  The second half of the year will be the study of matter.  We will also review for the state science test you will take in May.  There are a lot of connections between what you learned in 6th and 7th grade Science classes and what you will be learning about this year!

 

 

You will need a folder or 3-ring binder for your science notebook pages, along with paper and pencils or pens.  The $20 lab fee for this class can be paid to me (cash or check made out to MSA) or to the finance office.
